Short Hair Conditioning & Washing Steps

  1. Cowash daily or every other day in winter

  2. (in winter) After rinsing throughly, add diluted conditioner to hair, approx. 8 parts water to 1 part conditioner as leave in.

  3. Once out of the shower add moisturizer, careful not to disturb curl pattern
Saturate each section of hair from root to tip with mixture, roll section into small bantu knot and fasten with soft scrunchie

  4. Loosely tie hair down with a scarf or towel and get ready for work.

In winter on alternating non-wash days take shower w/ no shower cap on to "wake up" hair or spray with spray bottle and fluff w/ fingers.

  5. Wash weekly or biweekly with diluted castile soap (can use tablespoon shampoo, tablespoon baking soda and 4 tablespoons conditioner in water also) to get build up off Rinse each section THOROUGHLY while brushing or combing as water runs.

  6. Go be cute girl!!!

I don’t have short hair and I don’t have long hair. Would you advise the cowashing over shampooing?

If my hair was short I’d cowash during the week and wash with shampoo every 1-2 weeks.
