Humco Castor Oil

by glamazini on August 15, 2009 in Oils & Moisturizers

I grabbed several bottles of this from the laxative section in Walmart.

Price: $? for 6 oz.
Purchased: Walmart
Usage: Most commonly used as a laxative, castor oil is an odorless tasteless very heavy oil I use on my ends at times but usually in my pre-conditioner before I detangle.

I just bought some of the same exact Castor Oil recently. I have really short hair and usually just put a dollop of it on my hands and work it through. I like the idea of putting it in your pre-conditioner. Does this make it easier to detangle?

I’m not sure if it makes it easier to detangle just by putting in your hair. Maybe if you warmed it (just a little) then let it sit on your hair under a plastic cap…sorta like a hot castor oil treament

Castor oil for hair care is a vegetable oil that comes from the castor bean. It’s actually a castor seed that comes from the castor plant.

Hi! I just bought this oil and I was wondering if it worked for you? Do you still use it and what were the results of you using it??

I do still use it, but not that often. I find different oils work differently in everyone’s hair so the best thing is to just try it & see
