Hi Roshini:

I’ve bitten my nails for over 25 yrs. I stopped 5 months ago and I can say, it was the hardest thing to do, I believe it’s on the same level with quitting an addictive substance. It was so bad that when there was no nail to bite I would start on the skin of my finger pads, lol. Well I use polish now that I’ve stopped to hide the fact that my nails look like dwarfs, now that it’s growing it starts from about half way up my nail and I don’t have very long fingers so it’s not a cute look, lol. I would love to win one of those nail polishes, thanks.

Hi Roshini!

Here’s my nail story :)

Once upon a time… kidding lol Anyway, in 2008 I was chosen by an OPI nail artist to be her hand/nail model for the Olympia Beauty Expo in London (http://www.olympiabeauty.co.uk/). The 2 day event at the expo was called the “Nailympics” (http://www.olympiabeauty.co.uk/nailympics/) and there were nail artists from all over the world competing to when medals in different styles of nail art. We didn’t top prizes (but were in the top 20) but I had a great time running around the expo with a “MODEL” pass and getting my nails done.

If chosen, I would like a nail polish :) My email is [email noted and removed]

Years ago I used to wear fake acrylic nails and one time I went bowling with some friends. My turn to bowl came up and I rolled the ball so hard my fake nail broke off and flew in the air. Though we did call a search party for it (LOL), it was never recovered :O(

the black nail polish to put on my natural nails would be awesome!

Hey Roshini!!
Ok so i’m not a nail bitter or anything gross like that, i have used nail polish to stop a run in my stocking (so old school, lol), but my story is that i do love looking girly and cutisy (fill that’s even a word and i’m sure it’s not, lol) so, to me i would love to win any of your prize. So, help me maintain my cute girly-ness, so i don’t revert back to my tom boy days…..lol! ok not that extreme, but i would still defiently love to win.

Thanks….

When I was in the 3rd grade, I stapled my ring and middle fingernails together!! I had opened up the stapler to put more staples in, but I didn’t really know how to close it. So I was holding onto it at the bottom and slammed the top part down right on my fingers! I walked over to my teacher and was like, “Um Mrs. Teacher I stapled my fingers together!” She looked down at my hand and was like, “Sweetie go to the nurses office.” So I went to the nurses office and she pulled it out!

I would LOVE one of the Nail Polishes!!!!

I love to wear press-on nails for special occassions. My funny story is while at work taking my nails off, my manager decides to call me into a meeting. Talk about having to quickly remove the rest so I wouldnt go into the meeting looking crazy. I’m interested in the glue-on nails. [email noted and removed]

I used to get my nails done weekly, but life and bills got in the way of that. I would love to try out the polishes that you are giving away so that my hands can once again be fabulous!

Hello,

When I was younger I had long nails and I grew up with my two brothers, who was of course bullies because I was the only girl in the home. So if they mad me mad or tried to man handle me I would scratch them, and each time they would tell my mother as well as show her what I did to them. After a while my mother cut my nails and from that day forward my nails seem like they stopped growing. They would grow and break, grow and break. When I became an adult, I started getting gel nails, because to me that was the only way my nails would grow long and strong. I wore those nails for years. In 2007 I decided I was going to stop wearing fake nails and see if my nails would grow. Well sadly to say I went through the same stage, they would grow and break. Until 4 months ago I came across a youtube video which showed me how to grow my nails long and strong. I followed her direction and my nails are long and strong and I have learned how to do my own nail art designs, thanks to youtube. I would love to win the nail polish.

When I was in third grade I wasn’t allowed to wear nail polish but all my friends were allowed. The rule was that I couldn’t wear nail polish until I was in 5th grade. At recess my friends and I would paint our nails but I would always take it off by the end of the school day before I got home. One day I didn’t realize that there was still some polish left at my cuticles. My parents noticed and I was about to get a nice butt whooping but I said we were finger painting in school and they actually believed me.(I think the last time I finger painted was in kindergarden). A couple hours later I told my mom the truth because I felt bad for lying. I got grounded for 3 days but my parents decided to lift the nail polish rule and allowed me to wear it!

I prefer to win the polish but beggers cant be choosers so Ill take the fake ones if i must lol!

When I was in HS, I would get my nails done alllll the time with acrylic nails. I would always be scared when they would break in fear of my real nails breaking (ouch)! So, one day I was playing with my little brother and my fear became reality. My nail cracked straight down my nail bed. I was horrified and in sooooo much pain. Never ever again! Natural hair and natural nails :-) lol

If I win, I would like the polish. My email addy is [email address noted & removed ~ ini]. One love!

I used to be a nail Queen in college, before the real world job, husband, three children, and small business came along. I’ve been out of the nail game for some years now and have just started getting back into it. My hubby loves it when I take the time to do my nails and our girls love me to paint their nails (they’re 2 and 4). It’s bonding time for the girls in our family!

I would love to win the nail polish. They’re such fun colors for summer.

BTW: Love your blog and youtube vids!
