Here's my girl Traina in spring 2009:
I believe she was already growing her relaxer out at this point and had her roots pressed.
Here she is a couple months ago rocking a lace front she'd been wearing forever.

Now she told me she was all natural under there but I ain't never seent it (yes seent) so who knew what she had going on 
. She told me she had her hair in coils under that wig and I just didn't believe her 'cause it was too dang HOT for anyone to be wearing any amount of natural hair under any wig in my opinion. 
Then one day she shows up at church like this:

This heffa got as much hair as I do!

So I ask her why she just busted out with the big old puff all out the blue and she said "it's hot" 
… I tooooooold her she wouldn't survive the St. Louis summer with that wig if she really did have natural hair under there 
. Unbraided natural hair under a wig in the summer is NOT the business .

Anyhoo…I've offered to style her up so we'll see if she takes the offer. She has some heat damage on the top from blending wigs and weaves but over all her hair is super healthy since she's really been protecting it by hiding it under wigs all summer.
I'm happy for her
