Family Reunion Hair

by glamazini on October 22, 2010 in Afros & Afro Puffs

I'm just getting to Labor Day Weekend pictures .

This was when I tried (and failed) to do a wash and go with eco-styler gel then pulled it back into this puff w/ a hump instead.

I was at a family reunion (not my family, hubby's family…I barely knew these people ) & my nephew is trying to get in the shot LOL!

The photos make it look INCREDIBLE!  I loved how it looks in the puff but it was TOO MUCH in a wash and go (at least for me).

By the way, my 10 year old nephew took these photos & I think he did a great job!!

Thanks for visiting!

I really like this.
By the way, I just tried your newest bun style with the twist backs. Looks cute. I need to work more on my front twists but it’s coming together!

I LOVE this puff! How’d you do the top part? I’m sitting here with conditioner/honey/olive oil in my hair right now (been there all night). Just about to wash it out, and was looking for some info on clarifying ( I really don’t like how even the not so bad shampoos make my hair feel.) Anyway, of course, I came to your site (Love you!), and found this fabulous do! I was going to do the puff anyway, but now I have to figure out how you did the front twisty thing. :-)

Thanks everyone!

I parted the front in a large rectangle and clipped it out of the way. I did the puff in the back then I took the front, twisted it pointing forward and up (like a unicorn) then pinned it down with a couple bobby pins.
