I showed you all my versatile style from my trip to Black Social Media Weekend in July, but I couldn’t leave out all the other beautiful natural hairstyles I spotted (and snapped pictures of) that same weekend. Enjoy!

Here’s @Britnidwrites, editor of Clutch Magazine, wearing her hair pulled back into one with bicolored two-strand twist bangs (and Young Gifted & Black earrings from Rachel Stewart Jewelry) and artist @markchappelle with the most perfectly manicured locs on the planet. When I grow up and have locs they will look like Mark’s (and I’ll take his skin too while I’m at it).

Obviously these were not all the people wearing natural hair styles that weekend, just the ones I stopped long enough to grab a photo of. As you all know, I tend to travel with my hair “in captivity” LOL! … as in, in a braid or twist style … but these fab dos show that’s is not the only way to go. Maybe one of these days I’ll get the nerve up to wear a wash’n go at my current length, much less travel with one. LOL!
