Rough Day

Rough Day

I had a rough day.

The picture above was taken circa 11:15pm while thinking “I’m not gonna post on my blog tomorrow, I can’t, my brain hasn’t worked all day”.  Then it hit me!  Why not post about the fact that I had a crappy day health-wise, keep it real, and get some feedback from you all, my readers, since that generally cheers me up {although I’m not sure your comments will make this pounding headache go away *tear*}.

If you recall, I have a busy busy schedule in the next few weeks/months, and can’t really afford to be under the weather. Well, my body didn’t get the memo, and I’ve been dealing with atypical cramps FASHIONED IN HADES, and the symptoms of my adrenal fatigue have resurfaced for this time of the month {yay} including, but not limited to, headache, cloudy head, difficulty collecting my thoughts, forgetfulness, random aches, and general discombobulation. The good news is my legs are feeling ok Thank God!  The bad news is I have ZERO energy and spent 10 hours asleep after popping Aleve praying for this headache to go away.  Let’s just say it laughed boustoursly at the Aleve and is still here as I type kicking me in the temples.

Funny story:
I went into the Bread Co. {Panera} today and ordered a soy green tea latte. The problem? That is a Starbucks drink. #fail  Needless to say I had a great time interacting with the confused lady behind the counter who couldn’t get me to believe that my soy green tea latte wasn’t on the menu. LOL!  While I ate I realized the error of my ways, went up to tell her that she wasn’t crazy, and she laughed it off and gave me a free iced green tea for my troubles. Clearly the best part of the day.

Anyhoo…

What to you do when you have a rough day? Every had a day where you just need a do over?

Hope you have a great weekend everyone! Pray for me that this headache goes far far away soon. Thanks!

Until next time Glam Fam I wish you

Postscript: Would you believe me if I told you I wrote this post Thursday night, and when I woke up Friday morning my website was down :| . The devil. stays busy. #fail.  Obviously I’m having some “website move woes” but I’m trying to work them out.  As I type this my site is still technically down {I got access for my IP only to attempt to fix the issue #pray}. Busy I tell ya. Oh and I still am not feeling well. #sigh #womp #boo.

Hope today is a better one. Maybe some retail therapy?

Thanks & LOL. No retail therapy today {busy…big surprise}, but I do hope to take nap this afternoon and I may make it to the new Nordstrom and TJ Maxx stores tomorrow so you never know :)

I sleep. A lot. It’s terrible for both my physical and mental health though. If I can convince myself to NOT sleep, I like to run or clean. In generally, physical activity makes me feel better because of endorphines blah blah blah. In reality, both give me some mental silence which is usually what I need when things are falling apart.

I hope things get better soon!

I used to sleep a lot too {depression/natural tendency since I was a child} but not lately {life}. Not sure if much of what I’m doing could be called “physical activity”, although cleaning is on the agenda too {looks over at dishes piled in sink … thinks about clothes piled on bed that need to be folded}.

Thanks!

Hope you feel better. I had that kind of day the other day. It wasn’t health related, just work demands. I’m not the best at dealing with it either. I usually hold everything in until I implode (read breakdown). My dog helps though by making me laugh at her shenanigans.

I identified with this post since I had a couple rough days this week. With that said, I like to take a nice shower, eat a good meal and mellow out to some music. Most recently, I’ve been into blues.

Music does help, great advice. I’m definitely feeling MUCH better {it’s Sunday}.

I watch a light hearted movie or go “window” shopping. When the weather’s nice I’ll go for a walk. Exercise helps too if I’m not tired, a run or a swim. If all else fails, sleep:)
Hope you feel better soon. I too noticed the site was down, bummer.

I love going to goofy movies by myself, haven’t done so in a while {busy}. The weather has been ‘walk worthy’ so maybe that’s what I’ll do if that happens in the future. I hope I have all the technical issues squared away now #pray. Thanks for commenting.

Hi Glamazini,

I hope you feel better soon! I know it sucks to feel so “blah”. I did notice something had to be up b/c you aren’t your usual “Yay Glamazini” self on YouTube either.

Have you checked your hormones? Please don’t kick me for suggesting but, maybe your hormones are out of whack? There are different women’s formulas you can take to help get them together and they help with a multitude of other problems. Trust me….one problem usually leads to another and another etc.

Hola. I’ve been totally neglecting YouTube :*( … I was gonna do an update video yesterday and passed out on the couch #YouTubefail. I gotta get back on my YT grind. Oh and that blahness was 1000% hormonal. I totally have it under control typically BUT this past month snuck up on me and BAM! I was a m.e.s.s. I feel SO MUCH BETTER today though {Sunday} so I pray all is well from now on. Thanks for commenting :)

Watch a funny movie. Get out in nature, beach, park, garden whatever is in your area.

When I have a bad day, I look at a picture of my kids and I know it’s all for naught. Even when I have a crappy day health wise (or otherwise), it’s always in my nature to look at the bright side. I hope you are feeling better!

I’m feeling MUCH better now, thanks! I think some {most} of it was purely a hormonal storm that has now subsided :)

I usually like to find a quiet place in nature and just sit there for a while. Even 5-10 minutes of looking around my backyard (and all the assorted wildlife there) just calms me down a lot.

I also find that it also helps me to “unplug” for a while — no TV, no smartphone, no computer, no nothing. Not having information flowing into my head at a rapid pace gives me time and space to mentally process whatever it is I’m feeling.

I genuinely need to unplug sometimes.
