On this 6th day of November
I am thankful for …
… my husband being able to work from home.
Earlier this year when Yahoo! decided to end their work from home program an uproar of outrage was heard across the land. I understand why. When I worked an office job, the ability to work from home was often a godsend. It increased the balance between my career and my life and definitely added to my morale in a positive way. Every job I’ve held to date has had some Work From Home component.
My husband works from home 100% of the time and personally I love it! Now that I’m a stay-at-home mom, this means that most of the time my entire family is at home during the day. This works out well because God has blessed us with space enough for hubby to have an office where he can get work done in private, yet still be at home. Sometimes Flickerbug and I will visit daddy in his office, especially when I’m blogging or editing video. It’s like we’re all “working from home” if you count Flickerbug’s job as “playing” LOL! I’m well aware that this season will not last forever, and one day one or more of us will have to take the traditional route of leaving our home every morning for school and or work, but until that day I will bask in the blessing of wonderful rare time for my family to build memories and bond in the same space.
What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comments below.
See you tomorrow.
