Aw man! I did so well a the end of the month getting these posts up daily but now as the month comes to a close I’m slacking off. I will try to do better.
Moving right along … I am thankful for
the opportunity to work with Verizon this past year
If you’ve been a reader during 2013 then you know that for most of 2013 I was a brand ambassador for Verizon Wireless via their Midwest Style Blogger program. I traveled to Chicago, met with representatives from Verizon and Samsung as well as a slew of other awesome fashion bloggers also participating in the program. This was my first ever brand ambassador opportunity and I was extremely grateful to have it. I would love to do something like that again. If you missed my coverage of that program you can click HERE to catch up on the posts.
I’m also so very thankful for
my son’s therapists
Yesterday I got a little down after seeing a child born the day before my son with the “same diagnosis” standing and walking (with assistance) when we are still working on rolling over and sitting. Then I remembered that the doctors told me he wouldn’t live past 3 days and here we are 17 months later. Since I left the NICU with a 5-week old, we have had an amazing in-home physical therapist (PT) work with my son once a week. At the beginning of this year we added another PT and an occupational therapist (OT) so he now gets therapy 2-3 times a week! I don’t know where we would be without their hard work and I know I am blessed to have these programs available for my son’s best outcomes. I am grateful.
and lastly I am thankful for
my online friends
So after yesterday’s boo-hoo-fest mentioned above, I vented to a group of online friends. Not only did they listen to me, cheer me up, encourage me and supported me, they made me laugh until I was in tears with their patented pure brand of crazy #pegacorn. I am forever grateful to have these ladies in my life. We met on a website for weddings several years ago and they have become an integral part of my life. #hoboforlife
What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comments below.
See you tomorrow.
