Adima and I went to the Virgin Islands so he could (finally) meet my dad and my brother before the wedding. Wouldn’t you know it, the morning we were leaving it snowed!!!
Here we are that afternoon in the airport. My hair is still in the twists and Adima is wearing box braids.
We spent the night in Florida then headed to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands the next day (where I’m from). Here’s Adima at Frenchman’s Reef Hotel looking at the view.
This is the view from the other side of the hotel looking toward downtown St. Thomas.
Here we are. This is where we were gonna have our wedding reception, but we changed our minds and are now doing it on the cruise ship.
Here I am the next day taking photos of my hair on my aunt’s balcony.
It was early (sunrise, about 6:30ish) but I was still thinking of ya’ll before I started a very long day.

We had a great day running errands with my mother and then we headed back to our house. This is where I grew up and look ya’ll, Adima’s here!!!!!

DeVaria started these locs with combcoils (twisties) 6 years ago. Just beautiful!
