Just finished rereading Relational Intelligence: T

Just finished rereading Relational Intelligence: The People Skills You Need for the Life of Purpose You Want by Pastor Dharius Daniels . I read it a few years ago and promptly purchased the hard copy for my library. I think it should be essential reading for everyone in any relationship with another human, but *especially* for Christians, as I've observed a habit of believers operating in unhealthy relational dynamics and encouraging others to do so. The book used Jesus's relational framework to explain God's heart toward how we create, manage, assess, and experience healthy and divinely aligned relationships that are fruitful. I know that's what I want amen! 🍍🙌🏽

I was just listening to Mark Manson's podcast, and $I was just listening to Mark Manson's podcast, and his guest, Derek Sivers, quoted web designer, author, and speaker Cindy Li from a keynote she delivered. She was speaking on how designers should design for accessibility, not just for those who are disabled now, but for our future selves because "we're all just temporarily abled." 🤯 - The perspective resonated deeply with me because, being a mom to a son with special needs who used a wheelchair and who herself is aging and having to use glasses to read close up and do \stretches to use my back and knees well throughout the day, she's right. - Our healthspan and our lifespan are indeed two different measures on our trips on this rock circling the sun, and we would all ⭐ CREATE ⭐ a freer, more inclusive, expansive, and intentional life if we approached each day from this perspective. - Do with that gem as you will. 💎✌🏽 🚶🏽‍♀️ .. #blackwomen #blackwoman #healing #healingjourney #planningretreat$

Just finished rereading How to Do the Work by @the

Just finished rereading How to Do the Work by @the.holistic.psychologist . The first time I read it a couple of years ago, I remember it being good but feeling like it was "a lot." I decided to reread it every year, and this time it felt like ✨ a masterclass in healing. ✨ 🤌🏽 I realize my evolution of thought is because I have healed so much that what she was saying only "made sense" in 2021, but in 2024 it is an integral part of how I show up in the world.
