Hey ya’ll,
I’m back with a quick review of Emergen-C MSM Formula Lite Citrus Fizzy Drink Mix. I’ve been taking this for the past month in hopes of alleviating joint pain. It was recommended by a YouTube commenter who said “I used to have knee problems but now I can run”. That’s all I had to read so I ran right over to Trader Joes and picked up this box of 30 packets for $8.99.
A couple weeks ago I posted about Songs to Wake Up To and promised to be back with another list containing my favorite songs to get ready to in the morning. Granted, my wake up songs are all pretty mellow because I tend to get startled easily and prefer them that way when trying to pry my eyelids open. Not so with my songs to play once I’m actually out of the bed, roaming my closet and room and even in the shower. Unfortunately with hubby and I on different morning schedules I don’t get to BLAST my ‘get ready’ songs as much as I’d love to, but when I do get the opportunity here are some of the tunes that help me get up, pumped, and going in the AM:
As National Breast Cancer Awareness Month draws to a close, it is important that we remember to pay close attention to changes in our bodies every month throughout the year.
Tiffany Lott and Carrol Vaughn are stage 3 breast cancer survivors. They have agreed to share their stories with Glamazini.com readers with the hope that their experience can encourage you, and the women in your families, to get checked regularly for breast cancer and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
With all the options available, who wants to wake up to a beeping alarm nowadays? I know I don’t. Morning are hard enough for me as it is (I’m not a morning person), so I try to start my mind off right by waking up to the song of my choice. Right now my favorite way to do so is via my beloved Sleep Bot app on Android. Not only does this beauty track the amount of sleep you are getting (my initial purpose for downloading it over a year ago), but it turns your entire phone to airplane mode while you’re asleep, provides tips to maximize your sleep and, best yet, allows you to wake up to the song of your choosing! What’s not to love?
I’m jumpy, so I tend to like to wake up to calmer songs. I’ll make a “Songs to Get Ready To” list shortly with more of they hype it up type tunes.
Here are some of my favorite songs to wake up to in the morning:
I seem to always forget to share my experience with hurting my legs and adrenal fatigue until way after the fact. I must do better. This is a quick review of Joint Juice Cran Pomegranate Supplement Drink. My primary care physician mentioned that I should try taking chondroitin and glucosamine because together they’ve been shown to help lubricate [...]
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). Since its inception 25 years ago, NBCAM has been at the forefront of promoting awareness of breast cancer issues. [They] remain dedicated to educating and empowering women to take charge of their own breast health by practicing regular self-breast exams to identify any changes, scheduling regular [...]
I had a rough day. The picture above was taken circa 11:15pm while thinking “I’m not gonna post on my blog tomorrow, I can’t, my brain hasn’t worked all day”. Then it hit me! Why not post about the fact that I had a crappy day health-wise, keep it real, and get some feedback [...]
I‘m doing the most in 2011. How do I know? I made the necessary decision to graciously decline from any further invitations to do/attend anything until January 2012. I am not looking forward to the things coming up: my only thought is “Ok, that’s done, what’s next?” I just told the receptionist at my [...]
Last week I started my third round of physical therapy on my legs. This time I am finding it hard to be motivated, but I’m told that is typical for those suffering with chronic pain. If you remember, I hurt my legs pretty badly in March of 2010 and have been in some level of [...]
This is so random but I had to share. This ZICO Coconut Water is delicious! ZICO Tao Mango Coconut Water.(image: glamazini) I've been buying it for the past couple weeks at my job's cafeteria (which is stocked with a WAY healthier selection than the hospital cafeteria … but I digress) and it is so yummy [...]
