What I do for my anemia:
Each day, 2-hours or more after caffeine consumption (because I refuse to give up my coffee & caffeine inhibits iron absorption), I take a shot of 1 tablespoon of chlorophyll mixed with 1 tablespoon of orange juice (because vitamin C assists in iron absorption).
