My video editing program will not let me be great.
This Weekly Update was filmed 2 weeks ago and intended to go live before my trip to Nashville a week ago. The trip slowed me down then my video editing program, Corel VideoStudio X8 Ultimate if you’re curious, died. Either way, I’m still working with the Corel (at a snail’s pace I may add) to get this resolved. In the mean time I was able to get the file to render and upload it YAY! There are a few glitches so bear with me as I resolve the issues. ❤
It’s Weekly Update time!

My video editing program is
Corel VideoStudio X8 Ultimate (but it has not been “ultimate” to me unless you’re talking “ultimately never working correctly”). Stay tuned …

What is Periscope?
Periscope is Twitter’s live video streaming platform.
It allows you to broadcast live video to followers all the same time. The videos (broadcasts) can then be deleted or saved in your gallery for 24 hours, then they are automatically deleted. If you save them in your gallery they also save on your phone. People broadcasting on Periscope are called ‘scopers‘. What they are doing is called ‘broadcasting‘ or ‘scoping‘. People watching the broadcasts, or ‘scopes‘ are called ‘followers‘ When the video is saved in their gallery and a follower watches it after the live broadcast has ended but before it has been deleted it is called a ‘replay‘. When watching scopes (live or replays) you can send ‘hearts‘ by tapping on the screen, akin to likes on other social media platforms but way more interactive and effervescent like bubbles rising from the bottom right of the screen lol. When watching live scopes you can type ‘messages‘ real time to the scoper that show up in the bottom left of the screen. You can also ‘block’ users while scoping by tapping on their message (which is very useful to know because people stay trippin).
To use Periscope download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store or you can watch on your desktop (but I haven’t totally figured out how beyond when someone shares a link on Twitter?? Let me know in the comments below if you got the scoop). Anyhoo, you can follow me on Periscope @glamazini.
