Well, I’ve had these coils for a week and I’ve been getting compliments the whole time. As you can see, my hair has grown a tad and I’ve had some wayward ones go a little haywire in the back, but for the most part they are holding up quite nicely. As you can see, I’ve some most of the ones at my neckline are now flat. I don’t mind though but it’s primarily from my satin scarf tying. I plan to keep them one more week.
The glycerin and water is working miracles for the upkeep of these twists. It has made them shiny, soft and they have not itched at all 8^O. Some of this sheen is from the flash, but interestingly enough, a lot of it is not…they are just like shiney little tubes!
Maintenance: Spray with glycerin and water and tie with a satin scarf at night.
And here is the top. They have actually ‘livened’ up some since last week with the spraying and the misting in the shower. I must say that I quite like them like this….week old coils…a new favorite. The top of my hair is also a looser pattern so each coil tends to want to get bigger on it’s own…kinda unravel and loosen up so it looks more like a cone than a coils *ha*
Overall I’m loving my hair like this and very glad I did these. I will do them again some time.
