Eight points for the first person to tell me where my post title comes from .
Not sure what the points are good except bragging rights but moving right along …
Now that I’m jobfree, I’ve been cooking a bunch more. Why? Well I’m not a cook, I’ll tell ya that , but I am a lover of frugality and … with diminished income frugality is now the order of the day. That said, I’ll try my best to document my new cooking escapades for ya’ll in a new segment I’m calling
Barefoot & Pregnant In The Kitchen: Everything Mama Told Me Not To Be
has a nice ring to it huh?
Anyhoo … I’m about to make some pasta and chicken situation. I made lasagna, cobb salad, and sweet potato stew in past weeks (didn’t document them but I will when they roll back around on the meal plan). Stay tuned for my hits and my misses.
For now I thought I’d kick this segment off with a simple snack that I’m loving so much during my knockedupedness.
Kick this snack here for me and my DJ…
Pink Lady apples with cheese #nomnomnom
Obviously this is not a recipe … just an FYI that you are totally missing out on life if you haven’t had you some apples with cheese! I love Pink Lady apples, and when paired with a smooth Havarti cheese (or Gouda) LAWD it’s so good for no reason! Now if you want something complimentary but unexpected getchusome English Cheddar cheese and go in on that with the apples. It’s a much sharper pungent flavor that I dispise without the apple compliment, but really like with it. I’d say it’s a unique taste.
I’m gonna go ahead and tag this post now even though it’s the only one in the series. To read more Barefoot & Pregnant In The Kitchen Posts click right HERE!
