Tsunami (Dream)

I donโ€™t remember this entire dream, just the end, and Iโ€™m pretty sure watching Shutter Island right before bed contributed to this madness but here goes: I was standing in the โ€œcul-de-sacโ€ in front of our house in the Virgin Islands. I was there (of course), Adima, my friend Franki and my mother. A tidal wave was approaching so I grabbed onto the gate at the base of the stairs and started to pray. It sounded like a train approaching, then I felt the spray across my back, then it hit and surprisingly it didnโ€™t hurt it just pushed me straight up into the sky like I was flying. I held my breath and eventually got enough of my bearings to try and paddle to the top. When I broke through to the sky I was WAY up and could finally breath. Adima was next to me and I grabbed him as he broke through as well coughing up water. We rode out the wave going limp until we โ€œlandedโ€ in this place that actually looked like a nice resort. The last thing I remember was seeing Franki and my mom were alive then going up in a praise screaming WE MADE IT!!! and falling out on the side walk. Uhโ€ฆno more movies about lunatics before bed. ~ ini
