The week started out as usual … random … but ended up all about Sandra Bland and what the heck happened to her. :*( I refuse to believe that woman killed herself. Refuse. It just don’t sit right in my spirit.
It’s Weekly Update time.

and now Sandra Bland *sigh*
This entire thing makes me sick to my stomach. Sandra Bland was arrested for a traffic violation and ended up dead. They’re saying it’s suicide but I don’t buy it. Not today, not ever. No. No. No. Every day a new bit of information is released and everyday it’s too much for me. I hate that she’s no longer with us. I hate that she spent her free time speaking about this very subject and this is how she passed. I hate that I found out about her AFTER her untimely death. I hate the idea that something fishy went down and we may never know what. I hate knowing that Sandra was me and I still live in the same world with the same police making the same traffic stops. Hate. Sigh.
Here is the video I mentioned about wanting to “call in black” to work.
and if you can stand it, here is Sandra Bland’s Facebook page.
I pray that “justice” is found in the case of Sandra Bland … whatever that means at this point because you can’t bring her back to life. I pray for her family that they won’t be poisoned by bitterness and hurt and find some way to make her life matter beyond this tragic end. I pray for their peace. I pray for us all. :*(
Rest in peace Sandra Annette Bland
