I WANT: Reclaiming Desire as a Compass for Black Women Healing đź§đź¤Žâś¨

Hey y’all,
Whew. I just finished going live for a powerful conversation called “I WANT…” — and listen… it was exactly what my spirit needed.
This conversation is for every Black woman who's ever been told she's too much, wants too much, or should be grateful for less. It’s for the ones learning to trust their own voice again — and honor the sacred whispers of their desires.
So often, we’re trained out of knowing what we want. We confuse survival with stability. We call over-functioning “strength.” And before we know it, we’ve muted our own longings just to stay safe and acceptable.
Here’s what I believe right now:
Desire is not dangerous — it’s directional.
What you want is not selfish. It’s sacred data.
In this video, I talked about:
What desire actually is — and why it gets so buried under conditioning
How to start uncovering what you truly want (hint: jealousy, shame, and family patterns can hold clues)
And a few real-life wants I’m reclaiming in my own life — like peace, bold expression, and consistent ease

(If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your joy or unsure what you even want anymore — this one’s for you.)
“You’re not too much. You’re not too late. You’re not asking for the impossible.
You’re asking for alignment.”
If that resonates with you, I’d love for you to join me inside The Pineapple Crowns — my coaching community for Black women on a healing journey to create lives we love, not just tolerate. August is all about honoring desire, and we’re doing this work together in real time.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for wanting more.
You deserve every good thing.
And your desires are trying to lead you home.
Boldly & Brilliantly,
Roshini (@Glamazini) 🍍✨
