I’ve had a rough night and morning with Mr. Flickerbug who decided to get the sniffles then throw up all over me #goodtimes #mommyproblems #sickbaby. Hopefully he doesn’t get a full blown cold and feels more like himself soon, poor thing.
Anyhoo I’m back with another installment of my new STOMP ON DEPRESSION’S HEAD! series where I’m sharing techniques I use to BUST up depression’s plans to drag me down *pa-pow take that devil!*. In this video I share my nifty little God Box idea and talk about gratitude journals.
I checked and Amazon.com has several resources about gratitude journals that could be helpful. Also, if you don’t feel like making your own God Box like I did, you could grab a decorative box or suggestion box and tweak that to your liking!
Update: I’ve been using my rhythmic music and dance technique every morning when I come downstairs to feed my son and it’s definitely helping. I just turn my tablet to a preset station on Pandora and dance around while I get our breakfast ready, unpack the dishwasher, and whatever other chores I need to do. Woohoo!
